Over the weekend our family celebrated several things and something near & dear to my heart ... A Southern Soul! I cannot believe that it's been a year since I started this crazy, wonderful part of my life. I was so nervous about posting that first little recipe and very unsure of the whole "blogging" world. Well, my goodness, did I get surprised - time and time again. There's been so much encouragement, kindness, support and love shown that sometimes, I've been downright speechless, which you know is really not my nature! I have to say thank you, to old and new friends for hanging in there with me - I've loved every minute of this journey. So, here's a toast to our friendship...may it last for many years to come. Fill a glass flute 1/3 way full with peach puree (1 fresh peach processed in a blender until smooth)
Tilt glass and fill 2/3's full with Champagne or Prosecco
Stir gently.
