Iced Coffee, My Summertime Staple

Written By Unknown on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 | 11:47 AM

I love my morning cup of steaming, hot coffee, but when the weather turns hot, I switch it up with iced coffee.  I'm sharing the information I got from my buddies at Caribou Coffee in Friendly Center.  The measurements make a great glass of iced coffee.

Iced Coffee
1/2 cup of ground coffee - Caribou Colombian
4 cups of water
Pour into a french press and let sit 16 hours or overnight.
You can also use a container covered with a cheese cloth - add coffee and  slowly pour water over to strain.  May take several times pouring water but worth it!
Once you have your "juice", store in fridge until ready to use.
It makes enough for about 3 large cups of iced coffee.
I mix mine with sugar free vanilla skim 1/2 & 1/2 and ice.
Shake and sip, sip, sip!

I'm also sharing The Pioneer Woman's tutorial on how to make the perfect iced coffee, just in case you haven't seen it.
