Great Weekend with 40 Eighth Graders!

WOW - I made it through another Confirmation Retreat!  Rob and I spent the weekend with 40 incredible young people and 12 other adult leaders.

We learned SO MUCH about ourselves, our faith and each other.  We laughed A LOT, played games, ate junk food and shed a few tears.  You know that saying about "those who teach, often learn more than those they are teaching".....well, that was true for me this weekend.  Even with all the planning, hard work and a few late nights, I would not have missed it for the world.  Being able to get away, spend time with those special kids and getting to know them for just who they are was a great experience.

And yes, being honest, I am glad to be back home and in my own comfy bed BUT I am so thankful for each and every person I was with this weekend, so,
I am counting my blessings....and adding 40 kids to the total,
